Biggest speeding ticket you've gotten?

I got a ticket today for 60 in a 35, $247. I am curious to hear everyone else's tickets to make me feel better
 
i got pulled over today too... i was doing like 60 something in a 50. but i didnt get a ticket... yay for sweet talkin my way out of it haha
 
Been pulled over like 4 or 5 times, for doing dumb shit
tabs/lights early in the morning going to school: state patrolbreak lightsgoing though a puddle in a parking lot really fast at 2 am sober by myself hahalicense plate lights, friends dad pulled me over and then peaced before I could get my registration50 in a 35 late at night, again sober, by myself
Never gotten a ticket though, I feel very lucky.
 
Most expensive = $328 + traffic school costs for going 86 in a 65 on the 10 freeway driving east from Los Angeles last year(traffic school kept it off my record)
Fastest ticket = 94 in a 70 in Oklahoma with my mom sitting next to me 5 years ago $211 and not on my record
Those are my only two tickets
 
Fastest Ticket? 63 in a 35...that's what happens when you have a street bike...you just need to go faster than all the other people because you can.

Fastest I've gone was 161...and I don't even remember the speed limit, it was a secondary road, so probably like 55...not that it would've mattered, if I got pulled over I was goin' to jail.

Do not pass go. Do not collect $200.
 
90something in a 70 in Nevada after seeing phish in 2004. Its was like $250 bucks or something crazy in Moapa County which has like 17 residents and 12 of which are cops according to the pig who got me.

Got my speed via airplane too. Radar detectors don't work when they are getting your speed using time and distance. :(
 
The government would have collected $200 and then some, and your insurance would have collected even more.
See, he government does profit from people going to jail.
 
I think the government's main objective is to find a way to make money off just about anything...but very true. It was fun though, real fun.
 
I once was having a bad day and ditch class around noon to drive up to crystal....

87 in a 55. it was about $300. shitty day
 
those pierce county sherriffs are the biggest cockbags in the land. theyll get you for spitting your gum outside of a proper receptacle. my friend mat got a $500 ticket one night for doing donuts in b lot. i do believe he got out of it in court but... those fuckers. not that the king county pigs between greenwater and enumclaw are any better.
 
Owned a Honda 647 GT before I moved here and sold it, and currently in the house we've got a Ninja 500 and a Bandit 1200...everyone in my family that can drive also rides...pretty sick.
 
i got done 109 in an 80 a few weeks ago - ONE km/hr faster and i would have had some scissors going through my license..still cost me $300

Worst thing was that the speed limit changed from 100 to 80 about 100 metres before and i didn't notice.
 
176 in a 65... flew by 3 cops, one got me on laser, i didnt know they were chasing me so i casually got off two exits later to get gas, pee, drink an entire red bull (big one) and smoke a cig. i got back on the street, got stopped at a red light, took off on green and 13 cop cars from 4 different cities surrounded me in the middle of the intersection. jail for 4 days, 2500$ bail, 1000$ ticket, and suspended my license for 6 months.

cop showed me the video of me flying by them, looked sick, they thanked me for the fun they had trying to catch up, it was odd. not really proud of it but i thought i would share.
 
With my dad's 300C : 172km/h in a 100km/h zone.

and for me, 180 bucks +3pts for going through a red light.
 
The problem with a bike is that you're just cruisin, you look down and you're going 100+. Its so easy to just keep rolling on the throttle. Fast I went was 138, its not really that much fun though... I like the acceleration more than the speed.
 
No it was in Quebec, and if you go higher than a certain limit (i dont remember how much) your fine is doubled and you point too.
 
my friend got 66 in a 35 and it was a work zone. luckily for him his dad is a trooper. The ticket was bullshit though, because we werent in the work zone yet when he was pulled over
 
61 in a 40- $200 and 72 in a 50- $200. didn't end up paying for either of them though because i talked to the judge and prosecutor, I got off both times with just going to a defensive driving class.

So basically $400 worth of tickets, paid $50 twice and nothing on the insurance.
 
you guys are lucky. My friend got pulled over the other day doing about 60 mph in a 45 and got a $1000 ticket. yay for Norway.
 
Not really a speeding ticket but i got pulled over for doing 55 in a 25 and got off with a warning
 
on my way down to new orleans for mardi gras, missed an exit in kentucky put us 1 1/2 hours behind schedual. to make up time i wa sdoing 98 in a 70. my tickit was only 38 dollars i asked the cop if i could pay him the fine just cause i was headed on vaca and dint know if i would make it bake in time to pay. the cop acked like i was try to bribe him, i was like no i just want to make sure it was paid being only 38 dollars i had it in my pocket right then and there.
 
in one night- 78 in a 45 and illegal trespassing for mudding my truck in a field, those set me back a cool 500 bills. and yeah.. ik.. it was stupid.
 
cop said he radared me 3 times. the first was 96mph, second was 91 and the thrid was 85mph. he ended up giving me a ticket for 85 luckly.

$140 bucks for 13 over in Silverthorne

haha i know exactly where that is. my biggest ticket was for 79 in a 55 and it was like...$250 or higher...29 days after i'd gotten one for $150 haha. they're almost off my license though yaay

yeah but considering they make on average 3 to 5 times more than us for the same work.... really thats only equal to us getting like 200 - 300 ticket.
Also driving is taken way more seriously there cause there arent really straight roads and they are generally covered by ice... I'm probably telling you things you know.
 
96 in a 55 during rush hour on a friday afternoon, everyone was going about 85 and I had just speed up to pass a tractor trailer and as soon as I did I got in front of the tractor trailer I saw the cop on the side of the road lol. I went to court and the judge was suuuuper chill, and at the time I also worked for the same hospital his wife did so we bs'd about that for a little bit. Overall he gave me 0 points since it was my first speeding ticket and the fine was cut in half. I lucked out BIG time.

and yeah on bikes it sucks because you never notice how fast your actually going when your just cruisin. i always like to go a tad bit faster than traffic when im on the bike, i just feel like i am getting myself out of harms way by getting ahead of idiots on their phone, or eating wendys while going 65 on the highway, swerving all over the place. i almost got ran off the road a few times because some bitch wasn't paying attention to the road, but instead the conversation she was having on her cell. i punched her car and she quickly woke up.

any of you guys every do that? punch a car and scare the shit out of them when they get too close to you? a guy i used to ride with knocked someones mirror off because they swerved into him numerous times.... PS OHIO drivers BLOW. im set that we have the most reckless and ignorant drivers ever here, nobody pays attention to wtf they are doing.
 
haha 58 in a 35...it was a long ass straight paved road with no driveways or anything i have no idea why its a 35...but it was 240 or something i forgot...it sucked. but i was lucky cause i had drank 2 beers like 45 mins earlier but then had to leave for some reason, and had a car full of friends who had been drinking a little...and one friend had weed on him. 5 points.

and i got a 205 dollar ticket for blocking an intersection after going through a GREEN light...im fighting that one though. 2 points.
