or... they're paying homage to the same audience that once watched dexters lab as kids that now watch that shitty show as twenty somethings.
 
What makes is obviously intentional is that they're wearing the same things, are in the same positions, and the backdrop is identical.
 
I dont really buy how the two shows are the exact same.

Sure there are some geeky characters and a blonde girl, but the similarities end there. I dont watch the show often, but the girl on BBT is not Sheldon's sister. She just lives across the hall. She always ruined his plans, where the girl is just kinda there and something nice to look at. I dont think she ruins any plans for crazy inventions or anything.

Plus who the hell are the other two guys from the dexters lab thing? Friends of dexter I assume, but they played much less of a role that the friends of Sheldon do. IMO, stupid claim of a ripoff.

The pictures were made to look similar, and they do. But the shows and characters really aren't similar at all.
 
The big bang theory sucks incredible amounts of nutsack. Dexters lab on the other hand was the pinnacle of cartoon network
 
I believe they were dexter's friends but they were in so few episodes (if they were because I may be just creating this memory) that I barely remember them
 
I remember them. They went to his school or something. This picture was created to show the similarities, but still I think it's pretty funny.
