Bigger skis?

I was at flacheu and I noticed that both Noah Albaladejo and Henrick Harlaut were riding 180cm skis while chilling at a solid 5’6~ 5’4~ height. I’m wondering what new schoolers thinks why you would want such bigger skis.

I myself am 5’8 riding 170cm.

I’m 6’3 riding 184 and 186, longer skis are more stable, not to mention look better but really it’s just preference, look at ragettli throwing dubs on borderline ski blades

I myself am 5’8 riding 170cm.

5’8 170 seems fine for park skis, i really think anything nose to hairline is appropriate for most purposes. the reasoning behind the whole long skis thing is they look better.

what’s cooler, a dagger fight or a katana fight?

im 5'7 and ride 183 wets and theyre perfect. longer skis makes grabbing the noses easier and makes you look steezier. i feel like it also just makes you a better skier in general since you got more ski to control
