Big White's park is definitly making

some progression after they had the forum youngblood comp there in Feb..and they were supposed to have a slopestyle comp two weekends ago but had to cancel due to extreme wind (all chairs were closed!)

Anyways..the park and pipe are both getting good...however..you don't go to biggie for the park...get to the cliff if you've never been there before or build a powder booter (actually we have one made above the ridge rocket you have to take the T-bar down on skiers right...oh boy...we made it huge so friggin look out!

Or.. if you think you're really good, hike a bit to the easter chutes....off of the bullet.go through the trees on skiers left and go up the little gully...sweet trees, best steeps and tons tons tons of powder!

i'm thinkin of buildin a kicker on eastpeak/cliff area sometime soon. should be fun as long as a rain crust doesn't destroy all the pow this week.

big white kicks as! its all about ripping first tracks on pegasus and then hitting the woods to skiers left of black forest. I build a jump in there one day and by luck of chance it snowed the next and I had a podwer kicker it was great. also doing tuck runs down perfection is good for downhill style jumps.

And finally I want to thank the random person who puts rails in the trees all over the place those ppl are cool

Big White better be better than last winter, cuz SFU SKI is going back there for our trip and it best not suck...Last year=no night life, no food after 9pm, but what looked like killer terrain, except it was always fucking foggy.

first you make the nightlife at big white! second its foggy most of the time get used to it carry kleenex for ur goggles.

third the terrain is amazing but the pipe has always sucked huge, the skierX is great though!

in terms of making the night life we would start at the powder keg and get some pitchers and play golden tee and hit each other. then leave and go to the white crystal inn and play pool and drink there for a little, then go and hotbox the gondola and go back to the bar and get trashed some more, then wander thru town square and have a snoball fight and finally end by going home and having a bed time brew and pass out. then back up at7am to do some intown rail jibbing while the groomers were finishing up and then off to pegasus!

Big White management sucks, they won't have us back, all due to a $1600 damage bill that we weren't actually involved with. Assholes. Too bad, I was looking forward to going back.

i live in vancouver and are school is going to big white for a ski trip is there any good hand rials in kalona and does it even snow in kalowna in the winter

Yes it snow in KELOWNA, it snows there alot, anytime between mid december and late february chances are there will be snow there. there should be some good handrails, but theres nothing like downtown vancouver rails(not that it matters cause it never snows there).

yea big white is sick, you can do east peak steep and deep powder, carve a groomer down to the park, ski the new park, and then ski into your condo in one run!

how do you get from the east peak to the park in one run, still have to take the black forest back up then to the park
