I see plenty of them all over campus, maybe I'm not using the right definition for cowboy but whoever those kids are, skiers like me don't fit in with them.
Bozeman is cool if you wanna live somewhere far from any major populations and have almost nothing to do in town, everything that goes on is what you can do outside of town. I'm not trying to fish, hunt and hike for turns at Bridger. I'm trying to shred park and start a freelance film career during/after college and Bozeman is terrible for that, if theres no population theres no jobs. I already have opportunities in SLC and I don't even live there yet
As far as Big Skys park goes...its not shit, but its not that great either. I guess growing up on the east coast and shredding mostly Loon gave me an appreciation for what a good park is in any conditions. Big Sky has so much snow its the shame they can't use it well. Lips are half as narrow as they should be and theres way too much empty space where features could be thrown up. I can't believe with the snow they have they can't even build one good jump....BS park is a joke compared to the quality west coast parks (PC, Key, Breck, Mammoth, Brighton, etc.) and despite the snow, Loon is significantly better too
