Big sky rail jam this friday

just heard about this last night. apaprently the black bear bar is planning on hosting a rail event of some sort on friday night. ill post more when i hear more info

Does anybody know more about this "possible" Rail Jam at Big Sky on Friday? Whats the Deal!

yeah, it should be a good time. they're going to have a big bon fire, a dj, and i think a band afterwards, and maybe even some sort of movie debut.

they have about a 15 foot flat rail set up. theyre showing "let loose" which i think is a local movie, at 6, followed by the rail jam. sounds like anyone above 18, with helmet, can ride. there will be a dj during the rail. then a band, archers mob, i think, something like that. a ryan jordan (local photographer) slide show. a "huge raffle." ands thats about all i know. should be fun. oh, and its 5 bucks at the door.

well this ended up being pretty fun. the actual rail jam was cool- snowbaorders and skiers, male and female. a skier won with some sort of dropped knee slide. the band was pretty good- and then the highlight of the night for me was winning a pair of salomon x-wing furies with bindings in the raffle drawing. new skis for 5 bucks? not bad. anyone else make it out?
