BIG MOUTAIN OPENS SATURDAY

I kid you not my friends. One of my friend who works at big mtn, she said it opens saturday. It was supposed to open thanksgiving. Cant wait, if your going message me, well chill or somthing.
 
Isn't it a little thin at the bottom? Or are they just going to open the upper mountain like they did last year? Either way, that's awesome, I wish Bridger would open up for me. Although the "word on the street" is that they may open the day after thanksgiving....
 
You guys are lucky, it's looking pretty nice up on top on the webcams! Hopefully I'll make it up there again this year to see what the new park is like.
 
I think that applies only to the end of the season. Their lease starts in early November (correct me if i'm wrong). I heard that they might open early too from some of the lifties, which would be really nice
 
Back in the day they used to open on thanksgiving, but we don't seem to get snow early enough anymore. If they do open when they're saying they might, that would be the earliest opening in as long as I've been skiing I think.
 
yeah...wasn't the last thanksgiving opening like 96/97 or 97/98? if we had another winter like that i'd shit
 
Big Mountain will open Saturday, look at the website. www.big-mountain.com Should be sick, I think it's just the backside, because the other night they fucking got dumped on. Tonight I was up there for about an hour, and it snowed like an inch. So it's coming down slowly but surely. On a side note, Big Mountain Security is lame. Fucking harass me every time I go up. Even when I'm not doing anything. I told him if he didn't fuck off I'd have his job. I've got connections :P when he found out my connections, he fucked off. Yes!
 
Jake, you are comming next time i try to session that rail by the bridge up there. I think of couple of us are going to camp out in the parking lot of friday night, have ourselves a little pre season bash or something. Should be sick.
 
Rail by the bridge? What you talkin bout willis? Camping out and partying...What kind of party, will there be drugs and alcohol and music? Because those types of things would make a sweet kickoff party... haha
 
the security up there are so gay. they have nothing to do and tehy are fat and stupid. we bomb them wiht waterballoons and shit and one time we pissed off the bridge onto his car. while he was stopping because we dropped ice chunks on cars

I was there both days. Nice snow, but it was getting a little hard on Sunday. And by the end of sunday, Russ' Street was a fucking mud puddle. I got a core shot on my new Guns on my last run to the base. Fuckers. I hope they are open wendnesday, as We start thanksgiving break. See you there.
 
I went up today, it was a bit firm. I took a core shot on Saturday too, on my last run. Hooray for Ptex. Haha, I got them all prettied up for this morning. This afternoon someone built up the jump over the natural tabletop on Greywolf, I showed up as they finished it. I got to guinea pig it. I figured, well, this is the softest it's going to be until we get more snow, so I rodeo 7'd it. So much fun. I stuck my first invert of the year on my first try. I fucking love skiing, almost as much as sex...well, sex and skiing together would be pretty awesome. Actually, it is pretty awesome, I just wish it happened more often...
 
Nice jake. Good to see the Greywolf gap will be up for this weekend. I want to build some more jumps around the mtn, so look for those throughout Thanksgiving break. I'll post locations as we get stuff going.
 
Ok, it has a 6ft landing, along with a 20 ft deck and a 7 ft takeoff. I overshot the landing second time I hit it today, but it was all powdery, so I can't really complain.
 
Meh, whatever. I was fucking going huge over it. Super fun. I don't think I'm going thanksgiving day though. I landed on a stump this morning, and I've got a sweet fucking bruise. And...I think I'm cooking thanksgiving dinner for my family and aunt and uncle who are coming from out of town. See you dudes friday.
 
Friday was absolute shit. Whacked my head on the hard shitty landing and now I am sitting at home reading about the civil war and wishing I wasn't stupid. Fuck that jump.
 
Ski within your ability. I bit through my tongue, and bled all over, and I still like the jump. It's just unfortunate, don't get all upset.
