Big Mountain Trip Ski Choice

What’s up yall I’m from the midwest but headed out to Jackson Hole and need to decide whether i’m taking my own skis or possibly looking into the demo programs out there. I’m currently running Line Chronics as my all mountain and Vishnu Wets as my “i live in fucking ohio let’s have fun” I am 5’9” and weigh 140 pounds, does anyone think either of these will handle any amount of powder or have advice on the demo programs on the mountain?

I’d recommend demoing something 105mm+ for this kind of trip. I think you’ll struggle in powder on the chronics.

Also check out the buy/sell/trade page for some midfat skis. There are some on there now in the $300-$400 price range that might be the same cost as just renting for 5 days.

yeah 3 days of riding is going to be like 200 bucks to demo, and it’s the same price to check skis and a boot bag as just a boot bag so i’ll probably fly out w the chronics and if they can’t perform i’ll just pay to demo once i’m there
