Big mountain ski coach

I know this is probably gonna be pretty niche but does anyone have experience as a big mountain ski coach? What type of certifications do you need? PSIA? IFSA? USASA? What bag of tricks do you need off of cliffs? Do you need past FWQ placement?

I coach big mountain.

Never competed before.

You should be an expert level rider.

As far as certifications get your IFSA level 100 and you should be good to go.

IFSAJ L100 at the very least. But some resorts have their Freeride/Freeski programs under the ski school or development center umbrella which may require PSIA. Winter Park and Solitude off the top of my head namely are examples. Fun way to spend winters but can get stressful at times wrangling 15-18 year old menaces on skis lol.

my first ever job was as a big mountain coach at squaw, I couldn't even three at the time. Depends how high you wanna go, but many big mountain teams are just glorified all mountain ski lessons. if you can rip double blacks fast with confidence you got the skills required.
