i have a huge movie file that is

like 5-6 gigs is there anyway to put this on a cd without having to cut it up???

i do not have a dvd burner i just ahve a normal cd burner and cd creater.

if u can convert it to a wmv it might make it a bit worse quality, but wmv's are so much smaller than most stuff
 
you could try using divx code to compress it. I dont think that really does anything to the quality, you just need the divx codec on the comp to play it again. Other than that maybe try zipping the file. Getting 5-6gigs down to 700mb or so your probably going to have to lose some quality or like you said break it up.
