Okay guys.

So I work at a ski shop in Northern California right... We do bindings and hotwaxes and ski tunes and stonegrinds. The whole bit.

Well, this one guy came in tonight, probably a 16 year old kid right.. Hes 5-10, 175ish.

He wants me to slap his P12's onto a pair of grom invaders and ride them like snowblades.

Now, I had never been asked to do this before, and since I was the only guy in the shop tonight, I wasnt even sure if my boss allowed that kinda thing, so I turned him away and told him it cannot be done, simply for saftey and... common sense reasons lol.

What I'm asking is, COULD this actually be done? and would it even work? I mean... maybe not with invaders which suck and delam all the time, but maybe some K2 juvys or something?

Any takers?

yeh, jnr skis are not made to take the forces a 175 pound gut will put onto them. he'll bustem or pull the bindings clean out, or just fuck the core real quick.

I've seen it done. I don't think it would be so cool, but you can ride them like snowblades... until your fat ass breaks them in half.

Haha. Yeah.. thats what I told the guy (btw, that was my post earlier, i was just on my bros account)

I told him he would snap the shit out of them if I did that... I told him to get some real skis lol.

i was at a store the other day and this almost 6ft tall guy told me that he rode womens skis cause they were lighter. i just kinda nodded and walked away cause ive never heard of anyone doing that before.

does anyone else do that?

There was this one dude on here that rode Line Shadows because he wanted a softer flex. I mean to be honest, just because they're women's skis doesn't make them any different than a normal ski... all that differentiates the two are graphics and flex.
