Big Boulder or Camelback?

I have been debating on a season pass between round top ( 5 minutes away expensive)

and JFBB (2 hours away, not so expensive)

Any advice and does anyone have pics of the presason set up?

why wouldn't you get the $400 pass to RT if you're so close? you could be there everyday.. and their park should be iller this year. stambaugh doing work.

Thanks Aaron. I just sent the guy a PM. Boulder is ILL that's for sure. We are doing work like you said at Roundtop this pre-season. List of new features include 30ft DFD single barrel, Kicker Box, 25ft true flat box, 35ft true flat box, shakedown rail (5ft up to 25ft down; skiers will hit it as a down bar or one foot the up to down), new battleship box, new down-flat kink rail, new flat bars (30-40ft in length). A few others too as we finish up these ^.

If your over 18^ look at applying for park and pipe (free riding then).

Mods, move this to regionals though.

Definitely go with roundtop. I also live about 5mins away and skiing a decent park everyday after school is in my opinion a lot better than just skiing boulder or ckb on weekends. Plus if you go with roundtop you also can go to liberty and whitetail for free if roundtop gets boring.

what the word on the roundtop park as far as jumps? anything over 40ft? and do they know how to make a solid jump, or just do that thing where they pile snow and make a ramp

At the end of last year, we had a great jump. It was about 35ft deck with the takeoff being about 2.5 cat widths wide.

Jump wasn't big, but it was super fun. With the slope our park is on, we have to "share it" which limits us. Plus the pitch doesn't lay well for a huge jump (50ft+).

why the fuck did you bump this? I, like an idiot, thought that camelback was somehow open or something...goddammit.
