signed up for a big air contest the jump is going to be 25ft or bigger with a good lip to it. I need help so i can thrugh down some tight stuff. I was thinking backflip? or 540 but yesterday i looked so wack in the air doing a 5 over a table top.

Any help i need some dope tricks.

what can you do? i find it best to go just under your maximum ability and make it look really clean, for instance if you can spin 9's do a 7 with a smooth grab.

in your profile it says your best trick is a 3 though...

its all about making yourself do the toughest possible trick while maintaining the steeze. like any other comp. know your going to land whatever trick you commit to and know your going to make it look good. try to get a trick or two down then go for a trick your less comfortable with to try and get a better score

just do what you can. if you can grab a 3 or a 5, send it as big and as steezily as you can. For your first big air comp dont be disappointed if you don't podium just have fun with it and meet some people from the area. Always a good learning experience too to see what others are doing. Ask better people for help, unless they're real pricks most skiers are cool about it.

if you can get a switch 3 down clean, that would be a good trick. work on your zero's and work up to it. throw in a grab too. when is the competition?

a reply to all....

i can do a 540 pretty clean still a lil sketch. i was thinking back flip, i am going to the gym to try some stuff on the tramp but idk. ik if i just go for somthing i probably wont land it because idk what im doing. soo contest is on the 23(next saturday) soo wish me luck.

^whats a sausage grab?

oh and not related to tricks but dont expect allot. if you expect a podium and get less, its really frustrating and will set a bad vibe for any other future comps. if you just want to have fun, you will and should be super stoked if you do even alright

check out the 4bi9 newzealnad edit part 3. henrik hoes them in cork 7 and 9.

its basically a blunt grab witouth crossing skis.

Definitely one of these. Pretty easy to throw, especially over a table that size, and they look sick. Proper crowd pleasers too.

spin to win baby, try a 900, it doesnt have to look cool to win

But seriously, most contests will disqualify you for any invert jump.
