Bibby sizing question

I'm seriously thinking. I am going to be using them only in the powder, because I have the reno jibs for park which is basically the only other thing I ski. They only come in a size 186 for those who don't know. Heres the link for the skis:http://momentskis.com/bibbypro.html.

Last year I had 161 Invaders, and this year I am using 171 reno jibs. So my question is if these are too big for me?

It depends on your size. I'm 5'8 140 and going to be riding them this year. Some would say they are too big for me but it's all preference. If you're a decent skier, you'll be able to handle them.

you, my friend, are a dumbass.

the Bibby's are fairly big as sizing goes. the are rockered, and have early taper which will make them ski shorter when on the snow. However, if you are 15 and not very heavy/mediocre skier, they will most likely be too big. your knees and legs will have to bear the results of skiing on such a big ski, but if you think you can handle it, more power to you. it seems to me that if you were on 161 invaders last year, 186 Bibby's are going to be wayyyyy too big for you and you need to stop asking your parents to buy you the "hottest new" skis just because they are hyped up and you would sacrifice performance for product.

wow, im in a bad mood today. dont take those last couple lines seriously, but if you truly believe you will be able to handle them, go for it. otherwise, if you have doubts, forget about it.

would you care to tell us how big you are now, that normally helps when you make a thread asking if a ski is right for you.....

how tall are you? they are rockered which will make them ski shorter. and they are pretty damn light for a pow ski
