Better to learn 3's on a bigger jump?

I'm getting 3's down on my tiny backyard jump but I feel that it's not a really good way to progress because it's so different from an actual park jump. Would practicing 3's on a jump about 15 feet be ideal for learning better habits and techniques?

Yeh, for sure. You'll probably pick up some bad habits just hucking them around as fast as you can off a small jump.

This exactly. Im trying to unlearn those habits now.

I would try a medium jump. One where you don’t have to full huck around but mellow for like a straight air.

big jumps force you to have perfect form but that will be really hard when learning, small jumps will make it hard to have good form. If you get 3s down on a medium jump you’ll get those huck habits out of the way, but still get a 3 around with the littlest thing knocking you off axis. Doing a 3 off a big jump takes perfecting the form on a medium jump imo.

I learned in my backyard and I've had to teach myself to not spreads my legs out like I'm going to huck an 18, bigger jumps are better for the style but the jump doesn't need to be too big
