this happened to a friend of mine. except he only lost one ski and he was doing a cork 7 and it was a 40 foot park jump. scary shit. he had mono at the time and i thought for sure he was gonna rupture his spleen and die. he just cracked a rib though

well i mean he prolly wasnt planing on his ski coming off...

well he got mono in january and didnt get diagnosed til the beginning of march. after he got diagnosed he didnt ski for four weeks. (his doctor said to give it 4 to 6 weeks.) he decided to go skiing week four but to take it easy. cork 7 is a trick he has down, it was just sort of a freak thing. its not like he went out there and was working on new stuff.
