Best watch for ultra?

Gonna run a hundred k at the end of the month and looking for a watch with the required battery life and accurate gps tracking for the job.

currently using a garmin instinct from like 5 years ago and idk what’s going on, but it’s recording wildly different distances and elevation gains from my phone.

has anyone used a watch they feel like accurately records distance?

is it possible your phone is way off and the watch is accurate? if you're certain the watch is fucking up, maybe check with garmin to see about updates or perhaps a warranty/service claim. i've had a reasonable amount of luck with expensive gear being replaced even when out of warranty.

For real I think my phone reads heavy and my watch is light. ?‍

it’s frustrating when you’re running 10+ miles and there’s a 3mi variance. ?

Take a look at Solar versions of Fenix series from Garmin.

Rare coming from me but I wouldn't touch an apple watch if it's intended for real usage.
