BEST VIDEO EDITING for PC'S?

What is a good, pro-level editing program for a PC? I've been using some pretty basic stuff and it angryfies me. I'm getting sick of the same old crap and no options. Anything at all would be a great help. thanks.

oooh oooh, ive heard some positive things about 'ADOBE PREMIER' and 'FINAL CUT PRO' (is final cut for mac?)

adobe premiere 6.5 is the best fo pc (get the trial of premiere 6.0 here, you have to register to download it)...and final cut pro is only for mac.

Stick with Windows and go with Premier 6.5. I think a new version of Premier is coming out next month but Im not certain.
