I am sure with the number of people on this site people have been all over. I get May paid and off, so I am going to travel some. Far away. Probably by myself unless I can find someone else with a disposable income...

Right now, skiing and snow is not even in the question. Want nothing to do with that. So no vacations around mountains or snow.

My ideas so far...

I have an Aunt on the Gold Coast. So that is an option. Fly to Sydney, stay there a bit, go see her (she is 4 hours from Sydney) maybe hit NZ on the way home.

I also really want to go to the Mediterranean. Nice looks amazing. So does Ibiza. Both are cheap to fly too.

Also have a friend that went to the coast of Turkey and said it was amazing.

With that being said. Where have people on here visited or hear is a great get away vacation spot.

it depends on what you want to do. Probably one of the coolest places I've ever been has been Belize...more specifically Ambergris Caye. The scuba diving is some of the best in the world, it's not touristy at all, and it's right along the south america-north american drug smuggling routes...i.e. cheap drugs! It's very undeveloped, but personally I really like that....

Turkey/Greece is pretty awesome.

Pamukkale hot springs in turkey. just about the coolest place iv been.

fly to Paris or Brussels or somewhere in Western Europe. Get a rail pass for the month and travel wherever tickles your fancy heading East to Turkey. Then fly back out from Turkey.

Go to the French Riviera. Trust me.I've been all over the Mediterranean (and most of Europe) and I would definitely say this is the best spot. Nice is fucking beautiful (where I stayed) and within about an hour each way you have Cannes, Marseille, and Monte Carlo (which is fucking insane). I went in January this past year and it was stil absolutely amazing but if you go in summer...goddamn I'm jealous. You'll be surrounded by exotic, rich, European hotties and some of the most beautiful coastline on the Mediterranean. If you have any questions pm me.

Also, Lake Como right outside of Milan in Italy is fucking amazing as well. Definitely top 3 places I went after spending a year in Europe. If you're into Italian girls, villas built into steep, green hillsides, and the most epic hikes you'll ever go on in you're life, I'd recommend Lake Como.

pm me about that too

^ I am Italian and kind of have always wanted to see Italy.

Thanks for that info though. It all sounds amazing and pretty much you said what I have read up on, so at least I know I am reading something that is telling the truth. Always good to hear it from someone else though.

another dope trip if you want to see Italy would be to start in Switzerland, I'd recommend starting in Interlakken. Check out that area for a while (I was just there...so much to do. skydive, paraglide, hike, canyoning, rafting, etc etc). then make your way down to Zermatt to see the Matterhorn. From there go to Milan and get a rail pass -> Lake Como for at least 4 days then make your way down Italy check out Tuscany, Venice, Florence, definitely Rome, and w/e else you want.
