Best time to buy a new camera ??

Its usually best to wait until the gear is not brand new (on holidays/sales it can still be super expensive compared to what it would be a few months later) and get it a little while after its released. But with lenses and stuff that generally stays the same price its just when you find it on sale or when you really need it.
 
when you have outgrown your current gear and have the means to get new gear that is beneficial to you, and not just more megapixels or whatever. Also, generally wait at least 6 months after it has hit the market so that you know if there are any issues with it or things like that
 
Bump. I'm buying a gh2 tokina 11-16 Nikon 80-200 and a 25mm along with some more accessories. Just need to find the best time to buy !
