Hello, what time of the year is best time to buy some new sticks? Mostly looking for some sales or good prices

spring and summer. right now is kind of the worst time usually, i think cause most old stock is likely to have been cleared out and the current skis aint goin on sale right now in the thick of the beginning/middle of the season

BUT do keep your eye out at all times, you can find deals at seemingly random times. ive bought skis from a link on like the 7th page of google results, there are all kinds of factors that can result in a good price on stuff

Perfect, thank you so much. I don’t need new ones this season, so I’m not in hurry. But some new ones for good prices will be awesome for next season. ;)

Last year I got new touring boots and skis for 50% off, it was mid to late march. To the average skier March 1st marks the end of ski season, so anytime after that. I think if your wait until mid summer it can be harder to find exactly what you’re looking for, also lots of the ski shop guys will be busy selling bikes.

Spring and summer are the best time to be getting new twigs as companies will be looking to clear all old inventory to make way for their new products.

Never. Always rent the day of the trip.

why not both? get skis in the spring when they are cheap and then fly Frontier and rent on the way to the mountain because your skis got lost at the airport

Buy it all at the mountain retail store on opening day.

Check smaller brands sites at the end of the season. I know with fatypus, they usually run a wicked sale at the end of the season to clear out all of last years skis. Some brands also offer wicked deals on blem skis.

oh that's perfect, if you can take your time and just keep your eye on it without a time limit you're really likely to find something affordable at some point. happy huntin'
