Best Thermals For All Around Use

I'm looking for a pair of thermals or layering that I could take from super cold powder days to moderately cold park days. I want a pair that will keep me warm and still I am able to maneuver easily. Wouldn't mind a pair that are comfortable, not too heavy, and aren't too expensive.

I have been looking at Helly Hansen Warm. Basically I don't know much about it. I know that there is Ice Breaker, Helly Hansen, Columbia, and a ton others. Which is the best? Which do you guys use? I just don't know enough about it to make an informed decision.

Thanks for the help NS!

I've been using an icebreaker 200 jersey and 3/4 bottoms for a while now. Very good quality, comfortable and can be used for days without smelling rank. The patagonia merino stuff looks good as well, I haven't tried it personally, but I've heard good things. It's well worth investing in some quality underwear and socks!

underarmour, they are expensive when you get to the warmer levels in the technology, i got an l baselayer shirt level 3.0 and it was 85$ but its completely worht it

Yeah just get icebreaker, I have the 260 top and 3/4 bottoms and where them pretty much all year. I also have a 320 top to layer up on cold days.

another +1 for icebreaker. I have the 200 top and 150 bottoms. they are so rad and keep me toasty
