Best Switch Rideaways of All-Time

Eric Pollard & Jossi Wells get thrown around a lot as some of the steeziest guys to do The Switch and I can't deny that. I just watched the new Max Moffett edit and my guy Jake Carney is arguably up there too along with Brogan for some of the illest rideaways of all time. One that always sticks out in my head for some reason though is this one Shea had in his Mutiny seg.

What are some of your top rideaway shots ever?

Huge 5s on huge high speed cliffs

Psycho segment from 2010. Not everything is to switch but both ways switch 7s on a not so small BC jump is insane.

Wallisch. This isn't even a competition. His switch landings are so damned smooth. Example: any Wallisch edit or comp run ever.

TYW and Jonah both do this sorta pole drag on some sw landings, unmatched flavor

Torin @ 1:55 is such a banger shot

This!!! Looking over leading shoulder when you land while twisting your body so your trailing pole is on the other side of your body is fire for big spins. Also sort of looks like you are riding backwards and your trailing pole is an uphill pimp cane, which is clearly what the people want.

Wallisch definitely popularized looking over the trailing shoulder on landing so that your last 180 is just a hip swivel and you keep your eyes on the landing for your final 360...looks best on a cork 9 in my opinion

I heard landing switch is easier on your knees. True?

potentially. i remember wallisch tried to keep it together after the first time he tore his acl by just landing switch in his comp runs.

I am absolutely convinced this is true based on my experiences throughout the years. When you land backseat landing forward, your knees are angry. When you land nose-heavy switch, nothing happens to your knees

Jossi stated in a recent podcast that he tries to land switch as much as possible due to his bad string of knee injuries. So there's evidence to back this up

Parker White has best sw landings in pow hands down:
https://vimeo.com/131447437 (sw 10 at end in particular)

His park rideaway is pretty dope but hard to find nowadays, 12 to 3's seems to be taken down but there are a couple of sw 7s and a huge 9 (might be sw 10) that are unreal.

I hadn't seen that yet. Insanity
