Being out there skiing every day, good or bad, just playing around with friends, with no contests or filming- that is the real spirit of skiing for me. that is why i started skiing, and if i lose those moments that is what will make me stop skiing.

I've never skiied ther but i'd be willing to bet it's Jackson Hole. Squaw is definitely up there though.

Success often walks side by side with sacrafice.
 
Arapahoe Basin is steep. Crested Butte has some really sick shit. Alta and Jackson are waaaay steep as well. But Silverton takes the cake for me.

beaver creek????? ARE YOU SERIOUS??! a-basin is pretty gnarly, try Europe if your into steep and deep....America is not even comparable. Verbier, Cham, Engleberg all have vertical drops of probably 3x the majority of 'big' US resorts

Snowbird, Kirkwood, and people forget that Sugar Bowl has the 58's and the pallisades, just not the sheer amount of terrain, but it's steep.
