Best snow in tahoe

My family is going to tahoe for the weekend and I'm going to meet them on sunday. What mountain is the best right now?

I am not paying for a lift ticket, and I don't really care about park when I'm skiing with my dad, so out of squaw, Rose, shralpine, sugar bowl. . . . . anything else you have.

Something like that.

I know everything sucks right now, so I'm thinking about Rose because I have never been before.

 
from my exp, squaw valley is a fun fam exp. mt rose sucks, its all icy and stuff- i went to squaw then rose on mlk weekend.

if you dont like the snow at the moment maybe some fun ice skating will do!
 
mt rose has pretty good coverage, pretty fun mountain. But squaw would probaly be sick if you had the chance
 
I work at squaw and I have no problem admitting that as far as snow quality there is no doubt the Kirkwood has it the best right now... still had near boot deep snow around the boundaries yesterday on north and ne aspects

Squaw and alpine would be 2nd and 3rd in my book
 
Ok, sucks cause my little brother has a race at Rose this week, hence the trip. I was thinking about the wood, but I was also thinking about how much it would suck driving all the way to south lake. We are staying in Kings beach, which is better than truckee, but still a ways away.

But it will either be kirkwood, alpine, or squaw. I have been to alpine and squaw a bunch though and would like something new if its not out of my wallet. I will discuss with the parentals.

anyways, come say hi if you see me, I have tan pants, a grey jacket, and red crowbars on old surface watch lifes probably.

 
Yeah, just got back, ended up going to squaw. didnt want to drive to south lake, but had fun nonetheless with the family.
