Best skis of all time

This is a little gem isn't it?

Every person will have a different answer because no one skis the same as any other member. It also depends on what you base you judgment off of. For my it would probably be the Line Elizabeth just because I've never had as much fun on any other ski. Are they the most versatile? No. Are they considered the "best" any where on the mountain? No. But they're my favorite and I'm sure each and every one of you have your own opinion.
 
Have you ever rode the Scratch FS WRS? Theyre a year older but theyre hands down my favorite ski ever.

If anyone has a pair of those in 174 or 181, hit me up, i want another pair.
 
I agree. I have a pair. I skied a 140 day season on them (not every day of that season) and 3 seasons later they are still going strong, but now i only ski like 6 days a year.
 
that ski was the shit. I actually just found my old ones in a basement where I used to live. blast from the past.

my favorites now are on3p cease and desist. I still can't get over how solid they are. stoked to sample the 191 billy goat this year. Also got some more garage skis coming my way...

I'm staying away from corporate skis from now on.
 
the original line chronic was such an amazing ski, so lively, so bombproof. they're actually still going, i just wanted a bigger ski.
 
no. but who cares? the salomon 1080 foil is the shit. that whole salomon generation of indestructible topsheets needs to make a comeback.
 
wait what? those top sheets didn't just chip, they completely fractured, the the foam core on top of it all, ugh good riddance to bad skis, sure they skied amazingly well when you first get them, but after a few months foam core busts, completely useless ski
 
scratch BC's. I skied them for 4 seasons and when the edges completely ripped out they served me for another year as a bumper until I violently drowned my car in a river. RIP

shit homie ive skied two pairs, two seasons each and urban, and zero topsheet issues. every other ski ive had has been ripped to shreds. and i havent decambered them either. friggin love those skis.
 
oh i know which ones your talking about. i was on the ones with the caution tape when those came out so i didn't get them. all rossi skis are pretty bomb.
 
Line Anthems. Best park ski ever. I will continue to buy used pairs and trash them until they are no longer available.
 
If you mean the 05/06 rossi scratch fs cos ive got them in 174. Going on for my 3rd season on them and they look like they came out the box a couple of days ago and ive beaten them like a bitch. So bombproof. Will post a pic later.
 
not nearly as many twin tips.. in 2001 (in my opinion) there were less than 10 legit pairs of twins to choose from..
 
ha. I wan't thrilled with mine. I literally gave them away with naxo nx21s on them. it was prolly cause I was so jealous of my bro ARGs that season, and that they felt flimsy.
 
really? flimsy? with all that metal a durable wood core fatty base and edge? and you thought they felt flimsy?

i highly doubt the ski would have won as many awards as it did if it was a flimsy ski.

i've also personally charged some scary shit with the 100's and lack of confidence in my gear wasn't an issue. seriously an amazing do anything ski.

you fucked up imo.
