Best skis for urban?

ok so i know thers a bunch of threads on this already but all of them seem to be people asking if anyone has cheap skis for sale...im just wondering what the BEST urban ski is in your opinion and why

and dont start posting the shit you have for sale cause im not gonna buy it

old head mad trix

a cheap used pair of mad trix would be the best urban skis for the money. Forget Armada and Line's sales pitch, Mad Trix are the real bomb proof skis.

at first, i was like, whata dumb Q. but yea, some skis are def bewtter.any thing that smore jib specific. and anything with a soft ass flex pattern thats still snappy, so you can easily ollie onto rails, and not have to build huge kickers. le likie:

last years STLs

line 1260s

rossi scratches

Fujatives

invaders

etc

thats a good point. I was thinking only on the lines of durability. Scratches are durable (not as much as mad trix) but definitely ollie better.

season old twins, madtrix are solid but not flexy, dont buy new skis for urban unless theyre $150 or less

PE's are great, but they have one little problem... They are just a little too stiff, but they are bombproof. Even more that mad trixs.

Yeah I had the old mad trix and now the 05 PE's and I think the PE's are a little more durable...regardless, it is tough to trash your Mad trix. Also true is they are very tough to ollie on, especially if they are not set more center or to the big air setting.

ANY SKI that is old and NOT NEW and waist is below 90ish and length is within 5 cm of your regular skis.

^exact;ly, there are no perfect urban skis, ur gonna fuck them up so why bother

mine are 4 year old race skis, not twin tip, edges are rusty, but surprisinly no core shots just alot of scratches. they need a tuning tho

pretty much any old skis will work, centermount is excellent. i have been amazed with how well the edges and base of my piste pipes (tele P.E.'s) have been holding up to urban.

If I got a pair of skis just for urban, I'd get some 175cm pocket rockets and mount them 1cm back from center. I like wider skis for rails, and the pocket rockets have the most pop out of any ski I've ridden.
