Best skier right now?

who do you guys think the most skilled and promising skier is right now. who do you think will be the next Thall or candide.

Kieran McViegh, the resurrected

or the matej unicorn fellow, he is very skilled for being 15

Thall, with a hall, antti, Kilbride, Karl/Magnus/mango (actually one diverse person I suspect), and cheddar close behind.

Markus Eder won the FWT last year. He has produced some insane footage over the last few years. It would be nice to see Kye Peterson put out something like Numinous again.

Right now I would maybe put Eder at the top. He is not doing the FWT this year, supposedly to focus of a film project. I really hope he gets some good snow, it would be nice to see him focus on a big film project.

I would like to see more of Richard Permin again. Red Bull put out a video called Sweet and Sour with Permin and Victor De Le Rue. It is really nuts, we get to see Permin ski some sick stuff, including Hotel Room, which is one of my favorite AK lines to watch. For reference, Seth Morrison and Sage Cattabriga-Alosa ski it in the beginning of the TGR film Under The Influence. I would like to see more footage out of Permin again, he is on the very short list of the best skiers on the planet.

Definitely agree with this post.

Karl, Pwhite, Eder, Sammy C, Colby with a side of Mango. I feel like these guys are the most all around out there for skiing big lines, have hit street, and have sick jump skills

i think this plus A Hall and quinn wolferman is my list for favorites right now

henrik's still firing too

There are a lot of insane teens that in 5-10 years will be the biggest names in skiing such as Matej, Troy podmilsak, Dicky, and Jackson karsteter who competed with the pros in the steel city show down

I’d have to give my vote to A-Hall. He’s still pretty young and he has one of the most diverse trick bags in the sport. He is already competing at high levels, can throw triples, etc. And at the same time he could completely retire from comp skiiing tomorrow and become a legendary film skier (which he is doing anyway). I predict that in the future A-Hall will be remembered as a Candide level legend.

Candide came from moguls. Have you seen his first pow part in the faction collective? Super creative tricks but he doesn't really ski all that well technically, atleast not yet.

Unpopular opinion, Sam Anthamatten.

He is doing some incredible skiing. He absolutely destroyed it in the Faction movie.

I will leave this here:
=emb_rel_end

Then there is this:

For the last video, if you go to the 12 minute mark they go after a peak called Corrugated Face. Sam skis one of the most insane spine lines I have ever seen. I think Jeremy Jones did it first, although I am not sure.

his 18/19 edit drove it home for me

i obv knew he slayed big mtn but i either didn't know or had forgotten he still slays rails/jumps. that segment had 5swap to pretzel, switch dubs, and FWT lines. just insane
