I am 14 115 pounds and I an moving into my first pair of

adult skis. I need a light ski with alot of pop and is very stompable. It is big mountain/ powder ski. Want to be able to butter alot but needs to b below 175 cm tall. I want to be able to use them every day

I am a year older than you but I'm 6 foot tall, I use the 191 Caylor. For you maybe the 171 Caylor lite, basically a lighter 171 Caylor but softer and of course lighter. I have to say my caylor is the best ski I have ever used, it may feel heavy in hand but feels light on my feet, it has a ton of pop and is stable/chargy when you need and playful when you want it to be. The guys at ON3P are real decent guys they sorted me out with last year's as being 15 I don't have the $$$ for this years.

Hope this helps, Joey

Here's a link to my blog just with a brief overview of the caylor if you want a longer on look on evo.com there's some better more detailed ones there

When you update with your height could you also give more info on what ski you want. You say "Big Mountain/Powder" but will the ski only be used on blower powder days, or does it need to handle chop? Do you want a ski that is directional or has a flat tail for support? Will you be hucking cliffs, if so what size?

What is your background/training, ever raced?

How aggressive is your style?

Do you prefer a certain flex in a ski?

What skis have you been on and liked/not liked?

these and anything else you can think of will help people give you a better and more accurate reccomendation.

I am 5'5 have been skiing Colorado since I was 2 I'm 14 I hit cliffs that are around 15+ feet need a ski that can hold well on groomers to since I will be using them every day

I'll also recommend the ON3P Caylor, but I think you'd be able to handle something bigger than 175.

Other options are

181 Surface Live Life

183 Atomic Benchetler

177 4FRNT YLE

180 4FRNT CRJ

186 Moment Night Train

186 Moment Bibby Pro

and

180 Salomon Rocker2

On reading this a 181 caylor (non lite model) would suit you better. Don't be scared by the length with tip and tail rocker they ski much shorter. I also day tour on my 191s with no complaints, not sure if that applies to you or not

I find my Caylors rip groomers for their waist width, I find carving as easy as on Prophet 100s they are really responsive and on ice I find they grip better than my Prophets ... Caylors are just a really fun ski
