Best ski towns in Aus/NZ

just curious where the best places to live, ski and party are in aus/nz. thanks for all replies +k to the good ones

In nz wanaka, queenstown and maybe methven would be your best ones

Wanaka/Queenstown in NZ, Maybe Jindabyne, Mt Hotham, or Perisher Blue? Not familiar with my Austrailian ski fields though

Methven if you like the quiet life. Not much happening there, go to wanaka or Queenstown for some atmosphere

you could almost consider christchurch a ski town with the clubbies being so close and so gnarly

christchurch is pretty quiet now, with the earthquake damage no nightlife whatsoever, the club fields are super good though
