Best ski overall with 105ish underfoot??

I am in the market for an all mtn ski with 105ish underfoot. Anyone out there have anything they absolute love/ hate that fits this category? Any info/help will get k+ I am looking at a pair of brand new 187 12/13 Liberty Helix. If anyone has any reason at all why I shouldnt snag these, please let me know

Its really down to what you want out of an all mountain ski. I've skied / owned a few things in that size and the differences are immense. The Libertys are on the very much more playful side of it.

My resort powder skis are Dynastar Legend Pro 105s which are 192's and are not playful, they are a wide down hill ski...

On3p kartels the come in a 106 underfoot. I hear they are a good all mountain ski. I haven't ridden them personally but I have their filthy riches and I like em alot. Plus on3p is a really good company.

Used to be the '11 186 ON3P Vicik (104mm) and 192 Dynastar Legend Pro 105, but it is now the '16 192 Blizzard Cochise (108mm)

YMMV. If you are looking for a more playful ski, I'd look at the ON3P Kartel 106, or Blizzard Peacemaker (104). The Kartel is more of a park ski with all mountain capabilities. The Peacemaker is a playful all mountain ski. I have the Kartel 98, and it is awesome, if you like to ski with a more centered stance. I'm an exceptionally mediocre park skier and I can actually ski backwards relatively well with it.

Both the ON3P and Blizzard offerings are coming with bamboo cores, which IMO is by far the best material for building skis out of. It's probably why I keep finding my self hanging around the Blizzard and ON3P tents at demo days. Their skis are better.

I can't recommend the Helix more. Super fun ski that tears it up all over the mountain. Good on groomers and pow and also can hold it's own in the park as a wider stick.

For next yeas skis really consider these in you selection. Faction CT 3.0 (new Candid 3.0), Blizzard Cochies. Both are fantastic skis for all mountain free ride. The coaches have been re-designed to be fun and playful and the CT 3.0 is not a 108 underfoot.

The Blizzard cores are hybrids, there not bamboo cores. I had Liberty morphics with a full bamboo core and even with full camber they were utter noodles only anything harder than slush.

Liberty are all hybrid bamboo cores. Very few brands using a 100% bamboo core due to cost/weight.
