Best setting for Nikon d70

Jus got the d70 and was wondering wat the best setting for snappin action shots of skiers. My aunt lent me her d200 and sum guy set it up for action shots but i dnt know wat he did
 
I'll send you my almost new Canon S2 IS... from here, just use it (I will have it set to auto everything for ya). Then, put your nikon d70 in a box and ship it to me.
 
low ISO gives you better quality.

and i shoot with the highest shutter speed possible, so put it on the shutter option and go at it.
 
My aunt had sold it to sum guys but he wants to get the 200 so he sold it back to her and she gave me it
 
can sum1 give me a lil more in depth help. I know how to change most of the settings. I want it so the cam can get sum shots like the ones posted on the pictures part of the webby
 
ha use the biggest source of information that is right in front of you

the internet

learn how to use aperture, shutter, wb, iso, etc

then learn how to compose a shot
