Best rig other than glidecam? (DETAILS)

Does anyone know the best rig besides a glidecam?

I'm looking for something like a camtrol. I might get a camtrol but I still wanna see other options.

Make a fig rig out of PVC or get a cam caddie rather than a $400 Camtrol. Will do the same thing pretty much. Camtrol is overpriced as shit and they don't even have stabilization technology. Save your money and buy some glass with what you have left over.
 
awesome.. now we know splice is too weak to hold a glidecam setup :)

or doesn't want to take the time to learn how to use one properly
 
Get a fig rig. Or even better just make one out of PVC, super simple to design and they work really well

Get a camtrol thats obviously what you want you just want to tell people they're wrong.

camtrol is extremely overpriced shit that is not designed that well in my opinion. pretty much paying $400 for a $30 c-grip.
 
Just don't get an alternative, It's clear as hell stabilizers are something you don't chimp out on, I see countless people say, should I get a flycam? everyone says no, get a glidecam.

He gets a flycam, and regrets it wishing he'd bought a glidecam.

Just don't get a glidecam, you don't need one, and if you really want one so badly save up for one.
