nelly makes his first album ever and its the best rap album of all time. you can jam to every song. you can't tell me country grammar isn't amazing.

 
these threads go nowhere, most posts in this thread make me LOL with answers like weezy and cudi. Seriously most of you guys need to listen to classic hiphop like Kool G and KRS, or even like Masta ace and Canibus.
 
Kool G, Rakim, KRS, Nas, Ghostface (I love Ghostface I know lots of people don't like his style but he is too sick), Redman and Meth as a duo, GZA (pretty much just all of the Wu can go in too), LL Cool J, Souls of Mischief, A Tribe Called Quest, Big Daddy Kane, Big L
 
fuck lil wayne, he doesn't even write his own rhymes so basically he is just selling his voice. Its hard to really chose one rapper because of the different styles and voices. But i would agree with slug Brother Ali and B.I.G. My personal favorite is Method Man.
