Best Rail building tutorial

He Ns, Really want to make a rail to hit in my yard when we get snow. Who can direct me to the best tutorial? Im sure someone has made this thread before, but I couldn't find it. Sorry if it is a repost. Really appreciate any help.

I just couldn't get the damn pic... 8 ft long, 1.5 ft high. 1in pvc pipe with 3 in screws going up into the pipe

do more than 8 feet if you have the space. 15 is optimal, and 10 is decent. Anything shorter isnt long enough to actually do anything on

15 foot with two 2"pvc's and 20" tall...not too stable though...need to make some supports and it will be all ready to go!

do you have the screws coming up through the wood or down through the pvc? About how much did it cost?

Screws coming up through wood into PVC. I would do it reverse though if i build another rail. Pre-drill holes into the PVC with it duct taped into place, (barely go into the wood) then put the screws in. All in all it probably cost $25-30 and about 2 hours of work
