What single purchase has brought you the most enjoyment? Preferably of the outdoors, but lets hear it. I need to spend some money.

Personally, for 20 bucks I bought a knockoff Eno 2 person hammock on amazon. It packs into a ball thats super light and as large as a c-cup. I bring it everywhere I go hiking and have spent several refreshing nights in it. Great for combusting hemp and stumbling on fungi.

Koss ksc 75 headphones, $15 at kmart or amazon. If you can get past the ear clips, they are one of the best sounding headphones under $400. They are not for noisy subways or anything loud, as they are an open backed design, but they truely compete with some of the more expensive headphones ive owned/used.. It is well known in the headphone industry, that its hard to get much better than the ksc 75, even when spending $1000 dollars it may only sound 2x as good as a $15 headphone from kmart.

Amazing headphone.

I recently purchased one of those, best decision in a long time for camping.

If I had to have one hat for the rest of my life, this would be it:

Cost me like $6 from Backcountry. The hat is ultra rugged, looks good, and cost next to nothing. What's not to love?

Well I was gonna say a hammock but you beat me to it. next I would say a home made slackline set up. I can't get into the big ratchet straps, I prefer just some 1 1/2 inch webbing and a few (4+-) Caribbeans. Very cheap and hours of entertainment.

Next I would say try to get a pair of cheap used climbing shoes to do some bouldering. Building a bouldering wall can also be insanely cheap dependent on your tolerance for sketchiness and provide endless entertainment.
