What was your best purchase this past ski season?

For me it was definitely buying a POC receptor bug. After receiving too many concussions and buying helmets that i either just ended up not wearing or they didnt fit my head right I finally sacked up and dropped the money on the receptor bug. I ended up wearing the helmet everyday of the rest of the season. It definitely wasn't the coolest thing I bought this past season, but easily the best purchase.

surface watch lifes

Paid 150 for them, they broke and under warranty i got a new pair of Green Lifes

STH 16's

and a dope balaclava

OH, and i bought them a couple season ago but... My POW Assault gloves are dope and nice and toasty.

Those are the three purchases i am happiest with.

my seasons pass, i went skiing evrey day i possibly could this last season, casue of school, both days everyweekend, and all xmas break and spring break. so i used it lots.

Armada JJ's for my trip in Utah. I paid 500$ can for them and worth it. Got like 5 feet off snow in 1 week.

Yeah dude, was that around like April 7th or so? I was there that whole week, it was fucking awesome.

Anyways my best purchase would probably be my new snow pants, which I love, my skis and bindings, and my Scott Gore-Tex gloves that are so comfy and so toasty. I have raynaud's syndrome, so the gloves were a great investment since my fingers always freeze.

New sunglasses and t-shirt. Were perfect for Rev early february...

Stupid warm winter...

And my NIght Trains, perfect for late March dumps

J.O. pros, got my skis stolen the day before the Park City jump shoot. They looked really really good on camera.

Also I didn't buy them but I don't regret getting reno jibs.

full tilts, and not to be a gargler but they really did eliminate all my boot problems

less worrying/fixing and more skiing made my season so much better

saga boardshorts. 2 pairs, possibly a third on the way. and, i do pay for my stuff! my parents are too cheap

Look Pivot 14s and the Blue/Purple Air Raid bibs, the pivots kept my knees safe on several occasions and the bibs kept me super warm (not too mention it's a rare color combo, so that was sweet too).

Probly my lizzies, even though I bought them in like April of 09, I didn't use them till this year.

Best:

Volkl Bridges, FKS 140s, Salomon Ghosts. This setup helped make this season legendary.

Worst purchase would have to be my cheap Sportchek jacket, barely wore it at all, it's ripped as fuck after about 7 days. (spent most of the season in a yellow and blue jacket with a fluorescent maple leaf on the back)

On the fence about my Variant Brim, it's an epic helmet, but it's kinda gaper-ish, and the brim is annoying.

New ACL. And all the physio appointments to go with it. Happy I did that every time I walk down the stairs.

Seasons pass. Even though I was still waiting for surgery, I still bought it. I never would have skied in January or February if I had to shell out dough. Probably wouldn't have been so motivated in physio either.

My Ninthward NGPs are tits since we added a bit of rocker to them. Glad I bought them.

Health Insurance....
Paid for itself this past season. Tore my ACL near the end of the season. Health insurance is helping me cover all the doctor bills and physical therapy... By far my best purchase! Thank god I got health insurance when I did...

last years Blue house Stickies (i call them the fuckups)$65

Rossignol FKS 140 XXL's basically unused for $170

Armada Inverse, slightly used for $130

Brand new Westcome 3L eVent pants for $100 (with tags)

not a good deal, but ON3P Billy Goats 2011

Brand new 09/10 Line Chronics for $80. Yes $80. I snapped them my 2nd day, and not under warranty at all. and the Line rep here in MN gave me a brand new pair of 08/09 Chronics for free. and I won a pair of Afterbangs with one $2 raffle ticket. So i basically got 3 pairs of skis for $82.

defintaly my full tilt classics. i know is a cliche but they fit so damn nice! its like a slipper for my foot.
(my EP Pro's were great for the powder as well haha )

Reno jibs, they opened a world of new possibilities, also saga jacket because it was re first jacket I ever bought that I truly likes

really i got a pair of the grey scales and they seem really cheap quality but im not complaining cause i didnt pay for them

yea, the quality is kinda bad, like the sowing thread comes out in some places, but hey, they look hella baller and are really really comfy. i dont really mind the quality, as long as they last for at least a year, im happy. and now that they are $26 shipped to canada, i have even more reason to buy another pair

probabley a go pro ( even though its still in the mail ( my season is just starting) ) or maybe my black supernatural pants

my full tilts. seriously. they fit my foot perfectly. It was so nice to not have any pressure points/ blisters/ cold fit.

it really made me appreciate them when i had to ski in a pair of nordica ace of spades...worst.boot.ever.
