dude, just because u've had some days in ur entire ski life that may compare to some days out west dosen't mean that its the best. We had 400 inches in jan. last year, how are u gonna compare to that on the east coast.
I've skied tons at whistler and I've skied Alta with people who know where all the best spots are. Kicking Horse had much gnarlier terrain. Kicking Horse PWNS
Im going to have to say Alaska has this one hands down. Not only do our resorts get 800-1000 a year our mountains that are everywhere you go also get that. Alyeska last year i want to say got something like 1120 inches, i cant remember. All i remember is that our resort also has one hell of a north face that never gets touched by anything but ski's. from the top down its like 3400 verticle feet of double black.
alyeska really??? super low elevation rains all the time at the base, and there is more to powder skiing than just getting a ton of coastal crud and never seeing the sun.
havent we all caught the memo that theres still time to save baker from growing a vail-style destination rep by not constantly talking about how good it is on the internet?
ive been preeching that its a snow palace all week man. it just craps feet at a time. theres always more than you know what to do with. i've heard good things about alta too, epppiiiccc
jackson for sure!!!! that place is gnarnia man. vails pretty sick if you know where your going. i love winterpark (mostly maryjane) but not a lot of people agree with that
