Best place to ski in NY

ok so I'm from massachusetts, but im going to colgate university next year, so wheres the best place to ski, park and terrain and snow and stuff? i dont know anything about ny skiing, oh and whats close to colgate?

whiteface is over four hours from colgate.

Hunter is in the Catskills which is like 3 hours from Colgate. I thought whiteface was like 30 mins from Colgate? Oh well

All I do every day is kill kill kill. When am I going to get some shredding in.
 
Labrador Mountain about an hour west of Hamilton has by far the best park. The best skiing is probably at Greek Peak which is another half hour outh of Lab and outrageously expensive for what you get. Skiing isn't bad at Lab but the slopes are littered with munchkins and clones of my mother (who skis about as fastt as a glacier moves)
