So im potentially going to be moving to New Zealand for 2 months either before or after I go on exchange to Australia. I have may-june and november-december available for skiing, which one would be better and have the most snow? Im thinking that Nov and Dec might be better but not too sure.

Also what resort would be the best to try and get a job at? I've seen stuff about Cardrona and it looks pretty rad. So if anyone from NZ has any info at all i'd appreciate it.

Thanks

You might juuuust sneak in some skiing late june. And very surprised if you managed to ski in November (Mt Ruapehu sometimes closes early November.

This is the southern hemisphere man. Those months army during ski season.

Sorry.

I meant arnt not army, fuckin auto correct.

In general South island is best, especially around canterbury with all the club ski fields.. Might be closed by the time you get there though. Spring season does not draw out as long down here as it does northern hemisphere. Mt Ruapehu might be an option

Thanks guys did a bit more and yea I basically don't have the right times at all which sucks

Just to add, if you go may June you might squeeze in a little early season down south from around the 10th on June. If you go around November I would be surprised but you might just get the last few days at Ruapehu.
