Best place to live in north shore?

Best place for someone in their 20's to live. has stuff to do, cool places to go out, not a slum. haha i don't know, any advice would be appreciated. I was thinking tahoe city but thats just because it's ten minutes from squaw. I don't really know much about it. searchbar ain't got shit. advice?

There is stuff to do evrery where, Hike , bike swim , ski , Beach time but when it comes to bars and such Tahoe city and KB have a few. Not a huge scene but there is good drinks and people everywhere. The north shore is sick , lots to do.

tahoe city and kings beach are better than truckee because in the summer their right on the water.
