Best place to get boots in Vancouver?

After years of struggling with getting boots to fit properly, I'm looking at getting a pair of boots that actually fit me right.

Anyone have any suggestions on where to go within Vancouver? I can't really think of any places that really jump with me. I rarely go into Whistler, so I'd prefer to get them fitted here in Vancouver.

Destination ski Is really good with their boot fittings and selection.give them a look for sure, its where I got my boots.

They do all the custom fitting needs.

Destination was ok when I went there, I had a pretty good idea of what was the right boot for me so it worked out but I wasn't amazed by their fitting. That being said, I haven't had a single problem with my boots and they were well priced. Whistler has some amazing fitters but the price is much more.

dont buy full tilts.

and go to bryans in whistler, its a small boot fitting shop beside TMC in whistler

I definitely don't plan on buying full tilts, I have rather wide feet. I know they have a couple wide boots, but I'm looking for anything really that fits.

Any places within Vancouver itself? If I go to Whistler I'll check these places out, but I'm not planning on it anytime soon.

Destination in North Van (pretty close to the Lion's Gate) is awesome, first pair of boots my wife has actually liked came from there last season and the owner (can't remember name now) spent a lot of time with her, plus you can tell he knows what to ask people who are not technical skiers to figure out their problems (not saying that's you, but shows they are skilled).

I have wide feet and ended up with Tecnica's from Fanatykco in Whistler. First pair I've had that truly fit as well, with custom footbeds, Booster straps and a few rounds of grinding to get them dialed.

Places around W 4th like Snowcovers and Comor are totally hit or miss depending on who you get, since they have to hire seasonal employees. Make sure you ask how long they have been fitting and if something feels wrong, walk away.

Look at your budget and start your search from there. I've set up quite a few friends at Comor with boots they have ridden for 3+ seasons and are still happy with them. However, I myself have been looking for boots for 4 seasons and have been continualy let down by what I have ridden. This past season I got in a pair of Full Tilts after being warned for years that my feet where too large in volume to ride them and they are the best fit ive had in the forfefoot, but the heel fit sucks. They needed work. Regardless of where you go, a stock boot is a stock boot. The best fit comes from custom, and no joey in any ski shop is going to change that. Most boots, if not all, need work. Find a shop that will do it, and a fitter that is still stoked on skiing to help you.

North Shore Ski and Board. My family has always been a customer there, a guy named Arcenio fit me and my dads ski boots like a dream.

BUMP!!!

Last winter I bought a pair of brand new dalbello krypton rampage boots

off ebay for $60 shipped (because the ones I got professionally fitted 2

years before were terrible and didnt ever fit too well). However, the

boots I bought are tiny (they are 24.5s and I wear a size 8.5-9 shoe),

and because of this to keep my heel from moving around and my toes from

slamming into the front, I need to tighten the boots so much that it

cuts off my circulation.

Where would you recommend for me to go to get these boots punched

out/worked on? I am trying to find a shop that wont charge too much

because I didnt buy the boots from them but will do a good job.

Also, how much should I expect to pay? Whistler works also.
