Best place in europe

me and my freinds are planning to go to europe to ski in the near future, any suggestions where, im looking for a huge mountain expeirence with a good park.
 
Huge mountain and a good park don't go hand in hand here. Haven't been to all mountains here in Europe, but Tignes/Val D'Isere might be something for you. Check it out.
 
This mountain called Val Searchbar is supposed to have 9000 feet vertical drop and a park that dwarfs Mammoth.
 
espace killy (tignes and val d'isere) is pretty good. Portes du Soleil is safe, chamonix area is sick too

I ski espace killy, but you wouldn't want to stay in tignes, full of germans and dead at night, val however is epic, my bro just finished a season there.

Whatever happens i would steer well clear of the three valleys, in december it will be full of public school english cunts and the skiing is very average, just loads and loads of motaway pistes.

Then again there is laax, verbier, st anton and others, theres a fair choice but skiingwise espace killy and portes du soliel are the best bets.
 
mate the three valleys is shit all there is is loads of skiing, none of it is any good at all, the bc in the three valleys is shit.

However from march onwards meribel has a sick pipe and courcheval has an alright park. I definately wouldn't advise anyone to stay in val t, it too is full of germans and looks like a concrete buildingsite, mate it is horrible
 
Don't spread nonsense the Laax parks open in November including halfpipe, it's the earliest in the season except for a handful of glaciers. French parks have nothing on Laax.
 
Again stop spreading bullshit Val Thorens / 3 Vallées is a tourist trap it has 10,000 hectares of skiable terrain where Tignes has 11,000, Paradiski has 14,000, Zermatt/Cervinia has 20,000 and Portes du Soleil has 37,000 hectares of skiable terrain. Just to name a few examples.
 
Don't go to Val Tho, it's great for just skiing with the familiy and kids but off-piste sucks, to many rocks and park isn't much either.
 
Norway also have som sick mountains hemsedal sick park sick offpist,oppdal sick offpist good park,Varingskollen smaaal resort 3o minutes from oslo with traing have one of the best parks in norway..
 
Espace Killy and Les 3 Vallees are probably the best resorts overall as they are so big and varied. Very tourist orientated though. Not the same kind of culture shock you get in austria. Les 2 Alpes is good for park and when la Grave is open, its great for touring. Chamonix is the best for all mountain terrain but has a very anti-freestyle attitude so there are literally no parks. Portes du Soliel is also a good big one with everything. Switzerland has some good places like Zermatt, Laax, Saas Fee etc but is expensive. If you have your own transport, Mayerhofen is a great place to go as it is a large town with loads to do and is surrounded by lots of resorts.
 
Personally I really like Avoriaz in Portes Du Soleil, parks for all levels and the shapers constantly add new things throughout the season and there is a perfect super pipe!

those are facts.

to give some comparison resorts like Zermatt, Saas-Fee or Tignes have bigger mountains, more snow, higher # of pow days, and at least something worthy of the name 'park'. And those are just a few examples.

Avoriaz rocks hard (crazy amounts of snow, endless BC, 7 snowparks, including 2 of the best in Europe). Laax rocks hard (best park in Europe november till april, massive mountain, glacier to tree runs). Laax & Avoriaz are def. the places where I personally have the most fun. But depending on the time of year and what you are looking for, there are def. other VERY interesting places to go.

But in Avoriaz u get both French and Swiss mountains, the best park in France + one of the best parks in Switzerland (superpark.ch), one of the best snow records in Europe (more than twice the annual snowfall of Tignes and Tignes is far from bad for snow), a vast vast area with lots of BC and hiking options, and most of all the mountains are incredibly safe for freeriding compared to for example Zermatt which is ridiculously dangerous. Plus from Avoriaz you can tack on a day in Chamonix or La Clusaz, it's so close to each other.
 
^I am a big fan of Avoriaz. but I'd say Morzine is the better town to stay. There's more to do and is only two chairs away from Avoriaz. (or a bus and cable car). When I was there in December a couple of years ago the park was average. Later, in peak season I hear it is awesome.
 
Why limit to Europe? Try Japan in less charted areas (hakkoda comes to mind) you will have 40cm of pow every morning, no trails, just an old gondola that drops you at the top. No park on earth can compare to nature! Don't forget your probe and beacon!

For Europe I can't speak although my sister says Austria is amazing, and friendly to 'non-european' (freestyle) technique.
