Best part of fall

Knowing that winter comes next..and people who work have to bust ass this time of year to be able to afford ski gear this winter.

I honestly just made my facebook status "fall is such a bullshit season" a half hour before this thread was created

you guys are crazy. fall is the best, especially in new england. perfect hiking weather, cold enough to wear jeans and a sweatshirt comfortably. spring is the worst season. its all wet and depressing.

I love fall, the feeling knowing skiing is soon. Waiting for ski movies to come, skiing summer setups doesn't overheat you. The waiting is killing me but its better than late april.

YA BUGGIN BRO spring is fucking legit. spring skiing anyone? gaper day? get real man spring is my other favorite season.

nahh man! spring skiing is tight, but only lasts till mid april here. then its all rainy and to cold to do fun stuff. spring skiing=good, spring itself=garbage

Mmmm I love fall. Fall is hoodie weather. There's a crispness in the air. Beanies come out. The leaves start changing. You no longer sweat your ass off but rather enjoy the mild heat and cool breeze. Backroad drives are enjoyed much more. And winter is around the corner.

The only thing that sucks about fall are the "leafers" (aka cityiots) and their 40mph drives down country roads disturbing the flow of traffic. JUST STOP THE DAMN CAR AND GET OUT. =)

pretty much, the only thing that really sucks about fall is the anticipation for winter...it always seems to take forever.

Let's face it the best thing about fall is that first snow flurry where everyone goes crazy and starts telling everyone it's snowing (especially on the east coast).

yeah leafers really cut down on your ability to speed eh ;P

The wonderful head rush from the combination of cold ass water and a tight ass drytop :)

best part about fall is working at an apple orchard.

there is absolutely nothing like picking an apple right off a tree and eating it.

football, by far.

Followed closely and in conjunction with Thanksgiving.

And lastly, hot coffee rather than iced.

pre season rail jams, cider, apples, hoodies and beanies, football, bonfires, not sweating walking to class, long sleeve tees and shorts

For some reason that hasnt been in the store by my house yet even though they always have 9 and Summer.

But they have Sierra Nevada and Brooklyn Oktoberfests so Im content! haha

fuck fall. i cant play in the snow, its cold so i cant jump off my dock every morning. pumpkin pie is gross (pumpkin seeds cooked/salted are dope though) plus its a bitch to mow the lawn in the cold and theres always sticks and rocks hiding below the leaves that i run over.

oh. and those fucks who drive out of the city to the "country" area i live in. fuck you. fuck everything you have ever known and loved. the speed limit is 55. fifty. fucking. five. not 35. not 45. not even 50. 55. its all double-solid lines out here, and the other lane is clogged with cars stuck behind some fuck like you going the other direction. every time you fucking slam on your brake pedal down route 21 heading to the lake, like "OH MY FUCKING GOD IS THAT A DEER!!?? IN A FIELD!!??? HOLY SHIT FUCKING NATURGASM!!! OH GOD YES LEAVES IN MY FUCKING VAGINA!!!" god kills a hundred kittens. i never drive to the city and cruise around at 22mph going "MAN ALIVE!! IS THAT A HOTDOG STAND!!?? HOLY SHIT!" so you have no right to come to where i live and do the same fucking thing.

oh and you know what else sucks? i always have to brush the coats on the horses this time of year, because their winter coat is growing in and they have all these extra hairs that fell out and shit. fuck that. it makes me sneeze. fuck you fall. i want winter fucking yesterday.

football, seasonal brews, beautiful colors, firearms deer season, leaves rustiling in the wind, and many more things

One of the reasons I love autumn/winter because of the clothes. Seriously, cold-weather clothes look so much better than summer clothes, better colours, styles, better cuts, better layerability, etc

A lot of people do this, actually. If it isn't hotdog stands its, "look at that building!" "oh look, pike place market maybe they're throwing fish!"

And the worst is that if you're not in the city on a regular basis, you don't know how to park/where to park/how to spell the word park.
