I go to Mslm and Blue and there parks are really good I also have heard about Maximize for Ontario but obviously big names for Canada like Whistler. Anyone got any ideas on anywhere in Ontario

I wish this was a more popular post, I ski blue and st Louie to, idk your level but Georgian peaks has a couple good features since last time I was there

generally the places that host competitions have a standardized way of building quality parks (blue is the exception)

Public: mslm, blue, boler, horseshoe, calabogie peaks

Private: Alpine, beaver valley, devils glen, caledon, craigleith, georgian peaks

-there are couple of spots in thunder bay too, but i think thats outside of the scope youre looking at.

-I also consider edelweiss and camp fortune in ottawa/gatineau ontario as well. Maximise is near tremblant.

i havent lived there for a while now tho. cant say if its all still good.

Caledon used to have a sick park with big features but then it got super small but theyre slowly getting it back up year by year which is good.

Around the gta I’ve always found St Louis has the best park hands down. If you ever make it out Ottawa way Edelwiess is decent and Camp Fortune has a good park

Edelweiss did a great job this year considering the atrocious weather and the size of the hill. I still wish they were more park focused like they were back in the Rockstar days.

Tremblant is sick, but maybe not the best for learning because all the features are either a) baby or b) absolutely massive & gnarly & weird

Avila beats out Edelwiess and might just beat Tblant in terms of number and range of feature difficulties, but I've only made it up a couple of times.

Dagmar is pretty sick but a bit loose at times

I can't reccomend Dagmar. Past 2 years 90% of the time the jumps are not hittable and the features are for beginners.

Lakeridge has a better park now I would reccomend that. Still nothing compared to mslm tho.

The jumps are so small now because of the rain we got, most features are closed or are slowly being worked on

I rode the chairlift with some mountain ops guy and he told me that another major reason was the fis world cup. They took the majority of the snow used to make the base in early season to inject the ground of the world cup run with water so it freezes and they could race.

just another reason to hate ski racers and fis for me

? the park was so crunchy today but hopefully with the warm weather it will soften up quick

Beaver Valley puts the best park up. They were the first in Ontario (rumoured Canada) to have a top to bottom park built in December.

Their builder is dedicated and loves what he does. Always throws a few unique features in throughout the year. 2 weeks ago he added a skate bowl to the top of the park
