Best park in New Zealand?

Hey guiz,

organising my season in the southern hemisphere atm, Just wondering what everyone thinks about terrain parks in New Zealand. Apparently Snow Park used to be the best, but I've seen quite a few shoots at Cardrona, and both are pretty similar price wise. Anyone got any advice?

Tl;dr : What is the best terrain park in NZ?

Cheers

Cardrona and snowpark are across the valley from each other so by picking one your not cancelling out the other. But snowpark does have the best park

my opinion from a kiwi. down in the south island if your looking for park you only have two options really Snowpark (mountain based 100% for park sking ,pretty big have big small jumps shiton of rails ect you also have have night sking there so thats rad too.youalso have a halfpipe..there is only one chair lift. Then right across the Vally you have Cardi (they really are right opposite each other)cardi is more of a family resort.you have 4 chair lifts and a pretty nice park no where near asmany rails but there are always good jumps good half pipe that has a pommer going up it so no walking CHURRRRR.you go to cardi you can do more than just ski park they have nice terrain and back country stuuf.you want what NZ calls pow go to trebble cone (no park most of the year)for all of these mountains live in wanaka.the only problem is that the snow can go really early down there like it did last year north islands snow tends to last for longer.I wouldnt bother coming to the north island and skiing mt ruapehu but if you do go to Turoa they should have a legit park this year (cleared alot of space for it )they also put a new lift in too this year.also if you can get cheap passes like $350 i think

there is no question here. Snowpark hands down. And even if Cardrona has an ok park (which it doesnt IMo) the lift lines are terrible and you share the park chair with the main ski lift and you will literally be waiting in lines for over an hour during the holidays.
Therefore, Remarks comes runner up, as the park is actually really fun, it doesnt get as busy, and the rails arent sticky like cardrona. Oh and also, cardies changed their park like twice last year, remarks added and swapped shit approx twice a week right through the season, was legit

Snowpark number one for sure. But remarks aint bad either. As Hugo said, we changed the park up every week or two, and we maintain everything better than anywhere else in NZ. Some new rails this season too :)
