Best overall place in VT

my family might be taking a trip out east (from ohio) and i was wondering what would be our best bet in late march not just park but skiing overall

Take the longer drive or flight, and go out west. Anything out there is at least 100 times better than here.

yeah dude i would love to go out west but we're trying to keep the expences pretty limited for this trip so we thought the next best thing would be east coast

You'll wanna price out the entire trip to both areas first. A flight from Ohio (both Cleveland and Cincinnati) to Burlington, VT is about the same price as to Denver, CO. You're not flying into a major airport by going to BTV.

Killington's a horrible rip off for a vacation. It's a touristy, weekender's mountain. No village, long lines, and lots of rude soccer mom's from Mass, CT, NY, and NJ.

My little Johnny will ski wherever he damn well pleases! I paid for a ticket!

You do not want to go there.

we're driving so dont worry about the flights... its about 10 hours so that should be fun... after i looked at prices and looked at some differnt places i think we might go to killington... it looks big and nice.. any other good stuff about it that i probley dont know??

killington is very nice lots of woods and steeps a few cruisers and good park. just got dumped on tonite to, so unless it rains or gets shitty weather it will be pretty diesel when u come up

Might as well go the other way and make it 20 hours to Denver. Colorado is so much sicker than the east coast, it's well worth the 20 hour drive for a week of sick skiing.

yeah dude i know... orginally me and a couple of buddies were going to all drive out there for spring break... we would all just be turning 18 and one of my friends moms was kinda sketched out about the whole thing so now im doing this with my family instead and my parents dont want to drive 20 hours but ive never been to VT before so im excited to see how it is since my home hill has a 290 ft. vertical
