Best off brand batteries?

Hey guys,

what are your favorite brands for off brand batteries (LP-E6 for 5dii)? Ive heard that some of the cheaper ones don't tell the camera how much life is left. I don't need the cheapest ones on the market, I dont mind paying a little more, but what canon wants for batteries is crazy.

big mikes is what I use. I don't have canon but I assume its the same build quality.

reason canon asks so much is because its from the creator of the camera... cant get any higher quality.
 
You are using a 2,5K camera. 40 bucks is nothing.

The reason most off-brands are cheaper is that they just lazily copy the design and put it out there without any certifications or stringent tests. They will work fine 85% of the time though.
 
i should probably note that itis only a $400 camera (got a good deal off a local guy), and that at my local camera shop canon brand batteries are $120.

if canon batteries were only $40 i would gladly use them.
