Best of the worst, or worst of the best?

like the title says, would you rather be the best of the worst or worst of the best at skiing? just a little thought provoker

anyone here ever wonder how life originated, lets hear some opinions... was it god, or was it from a soup of dirt... lets throw around some ideas, and lets strive to figure this out, even though its not possible,

personally, i think it originated in a soup, i do not believe in god, im more of a science guy

evolution my friend, they called it a "soup like consistency of protiens and acids"
thats how my ap science book explains it
whats ur opinion sire?

So it's a soup high in protein and amino acids then? Most likely cream based, I see I see. I like to believe in creationism and evolution.

LOLyes, this soup like consistency sounds delicious, but they say that it (along with electricity, some electron exchange) created life as we know it. i find this to be amazing
i think the god stuff is a silly uneducated excuse for something that could use a real solution

You're talking about abiogenesis not evolution. Evolution has nothing to say in regards to how life originally started.

Worst of the best. If you are considered to be in the 'best' group, then I would think you are a !PRO!

With the gap in skiing ability between the bottom and the top, id like to be as near to the top as possible.

As an Environmental Science major, I have to say that God has never been part of anything that I have learned.

read "the blind watchmaker" you mean to say that god developed man backwards? He figured out what his exact likness would be and then created evolution so that someday we come about. Lets face it humans are no more special then advarks.

may you burn in hell for that

no seriously, hawking answered to the question "what is beyond the big bang?" (what is similar to who started evolution): there is no reason to ask that, its like asking what is north of the north pole?

i think of the exact thing when i run. I was the 10th man on the team, so i was in the top spots in JV races and one of the last guys in the varsity races. I thought it was better to be the worst of the best, because it brought out the best in me. Being the best of the worst leads you to be cocky and arrogant, and you aren't the best when you think you are, but being the worst of the best humbles you and encourages you to try harder to keep up.

dude, i improved this thread.....lets hear some more opinions and ideas on this topic of evolution and where life came from
