Best new england college for skiing

I'm a sophomore at east stroudsburg in pa right now and I'm looking to get the fuck out. Im 20 min from camelback and forty from big boulder but i feel like a school up north would be a better fit for me with more people with a passion for skiing. what schools are closest to what mountains. and what school in new england has a lot of nsers?
 
I'm from Ashland, PA (near Pottsville) and went to UVM. Lots of cool kids, Stowe/Sugarbush/Jay/Bolton/MRG etc within an hourish. Burlington is a sick place to live, you wouldn't regret it.
 
this this this. currently a freshman at UVM, and on the freestyle ski team. I haven't been there long (one semester) but I'll tell you, you'll have the time of your life
 
this! plymouth state in nh is also near some good mountains (loon, water ville, and cannon) i'm goin there next year
 
My friend goes to plymouth and just goes to loon after he gets out of classes whenever he wants cause it super close. Also super easy to get into and the place is nuts
 
im at st mikes in colchester and i usually get 4 or more days a week at stowe. school's dope too if you like drinkin and shit
 
anywhere in burlington definitely. im also from PA so I know how it feels. I transferred to champlain this semester and this place is pretty awesome. 45 minutes to stowe or sugarbush and the vibes in general seem really dope.
 
Fuck, I miss BB. Though, I don't think I would ever go to ESU... place is a shithole.

UVM is pretty neat-o, but costs about a billion dollars...
 
Just gonna plead to you that you do not choose your college based solely on skiing. For many people, (me included) it was a part of the college process, but please be sure to visit all the schools and make sure you fit in well there, will be challenged academically, ect. I've seen too many of my friends return home to local colleges because they didn't put enough time and thought into their decisions.

That being said, Burlington is dope, St. Mikes, Champlain, UVM are super close to Stowe

Plymouth State is a hugeee party school (if that's what your into), and real close to Loon

Bates Bowdoin Colby in Maine are all about an hour to an hour and a half from Sunday River and Sugarloaf, and a bit smaller, and more academically challenging than some of the other schools mentioned.
